For the first five nights, Sara has arranged for us to stay at the guest house of HCJB here in Quito. The rooms are similar to motel rooms there in the states with two double beds and a private bath. The water pressure is wonderful and the water very hot (at least during the hot water hours), so showering is a real treat.
Our breakfast is included with the price of our rooms, and we have had familiar foods combined with some new ones. Morena berry is one of our favorite new ones, and we've had jam and juice made of this berry so far.
